After ascertaining the status approached the Regional Forage Station and discussed the issues faced by the community related severe feed and fodder shortage. The identified persons owning livestock were given training at Regional forage station the experts explained and trainees visited the high yielding varieties of fodder and technologies such as silage making, hay making and urea- molasses treatment for crop residue. Made arrangements to conduct animal health camps informing the farmers to get their animals for health treatment and vaccination by the District Animal Husbandry Department, which was sponsored by ZUARI Cement. In the camp the services provided is vaccination, health care, supplementary feed and discussed with farmers about the health care of animals.In order to increase awareness among livestock farmers, we utilized Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials such as pamphlets and mobile auto propaganda to maximize attendance and make the most of the opportunity."

During the Pandemic situations SEED has been taken up the initiation towards created awareness on COVID readiness programs with the support partners NGO in Covid Action Collab plot form. Pertaining to this enlightened the community on reducing COVID wave by adaption of guidelines and precautions,mean while SEED participated many virtual meetings with full pledged volunteers by COVID ACTION COOLAB for addressing the COVID relief activities and COVID guidelines
At the same time SEED has been approached and play a pro active role for addressing the transport issues for this MUTHOOTI GEORGE FOUNDATION under CSR ask them to provide the medicated vehicle for front line workers to reach their duties from their home to Fever hospital and to bring the vaccine from Abdullapur PHC to vaccination centers in GHMC hayathangar circle.
Part of the COVID readiness programs SEED done good job pertaining to the vaccination followed the COVID guidelines and support to the vulnerable families explained about the vaccination importance in all GHMC areas in LBNAGAR as a result covered 101250 families for vaccination to all respective doses
During the COVID-19 situation, SEED played a vital role in addressing the marketing issues faced by marginal and small farmers. With the support of volunteers and staff, SEED obtained permission from the Police Department and Horticulture Departments. Subsequently, SEED provided transportation through mobile autos to facilitate the transportation of produce from the farmers to the market. This initiative directly benefited 250 farmers by providing them with livelihood opportunities. Additionally, by ensuring the continuation of agricultural activities and the availability of produce in local markets, SEED contributed to reducing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 8 villages of Nawabpet mandal, Vikarabad district.
In the districts of Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Suryapet, Siddipet, and Khammam in Telangana state, SEED distributed nutritional and dry ration kits to 2,500 vulnerable families and masks to 4,520 families. This initiative was made possible through the support of SWASTI organization, UMEED project, CAC, Dignity Drive Foundation, individual donations from the UK, US, and Canada, as well as contributions from other software employees. Simultaneously, SEED provided 50 pulse oximeters to health workers at PHC Abdullapur of Ranfgareddy district.
In response to a request from the GHMC Hayathnagar circle, SEED initiated various health interventions by organizing free blood tests for Cholesterol, Creatinine, Sugar, BP, and HBsAg. These efforts aimed to enhance awareness among the populace regarding prevalent diseases, facilitated through the platform of 'Muthoot Snehasraya.' SEED provided personnel to oversee the camps and extended support to Muthoot staff by providing sustenance and other forms of hospitality. As a result of these initiatives, 5000 vulnerable families residing in 50 colonies within the Hayathnagar GHMC areas benefited significantly. Notably, these families experienced a reduction in health expenditure from 2500 to 500.00, thereby alleviating their financial burden in accessing essential healthcare services.
SEED NGO raised awareness on menstrual hygiene among women and adolescent girls, while also distributing 2000 sanitary napkins to them.
